Experiential Branding Transforming Brands into Extraordinary Experiences_Vivi5 Studios (1)

When experiential branding clicks, it has the power to change how audiences perceives your brand

We make ads that are created with insights that inform how the product/service can make your life easier. But what elevates a strong insight is the uniqueness of the content and the way it is said, in words and visuals.

In a whirlwind of content sprouting up every second, creative content creators have a mission: to venture into the untamed wilderness of the unexpected. Our goal is to surprise viewers, catching them off guard or even sweeping them off their feet. Or should we say, their fingertips!

A great way to go about is “going experimental”. Contrary to popular belief, experimental doesn’t mean something avant-garde. Stumped you didn’t I? Avant-garde is associated with concepts that go above your head, but experimental is a unique way of communicating that hooks you.

Experimental means out of the box.

Heavy emotions don’t always have to be depicted by people lying in the corner of a furniture-less room. Homepod-Welcome Home by Apple is an interesting take on the phrase “Music can solve anything.” After a crappy day at work, the protagonist finds relief in a great symphony.

What stands out is the personification of the room, which opens itself up to the music. An interesting fact about this film is that the whole set was handmade. So all the effects are physically created.

Banking on uniqueness

A Nu way to the bank, Nubank is a revolution in the making. And the film they created to promote took everyone by shock. By creating expressionless cardboard faces, the visualisation of this film took an unexpected route.

But what makes this film a real success is the strong communication by NuBank which is to ‘reinvent’. It delicately reaches out and touches your heart, leaving you with a big, comforting smile of relief at the end. It also cleverly guides your emotions towards some seriously strong branding.

Bringing out the feeling

People often mistake republic day and think of it as a day to celebrate our freedom. But it’s actually a day to celebrate our democracy and the birth of the Constitution. With this in mind, we decided to go with a “Cut-out animation” style to compliment our nation’s holy grail, our constitution. This is a film that is experimental with a cause because the visualisation is meant to bring out the remarkable patriotism that went into bringing these commandments together as the nation’s constitution.

Experiential branding is one of the most looked-at approaches by trailblazers. The reason is, it not only brings an oomph factor to the overall branding for companies midst of the competitive promotional landscape. It also allows brands to focus on the experience that the customer is actually looking for. Besides this, thinking of its experimental approach when it clicks well with the audiences, has the strength to bring a new change. Leading to the new trends that become the new normalcy, the driving force for the new age.
