Britannia Nutrichoice Oats Cookies TVC tag was an extension to the main Britannia – It all starts with a Good Choice TVC. Our challenge was to visually show organic oats forming 3 kinds of cookies followed by the respective product packs. The treatment was to be stop-motion.The film was to be made in all main regional Languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Oriya, Assamese, Marathi Media: TV and Digital.


After understanding the agencies concept, we dove into the concept preparing ourselves for before the stop motion production. After much debate we settled on a colour teal as the backdrop , since it complimented the colour of all the packs. But teal is tricky in that sense, as we had to get the lightning accurate so that it doesn’t start looking like blue or green. Luckily our team of experts made this look like a piece of cake. 


We were definitely very excited for the prospect of creating actual cookies through stop motion, as we rarely get to use this style in advertising. We faced a unique hurdle while using the actual cookies though, as they left oil stains behind. After numerous tries, we realised that the best way to deal with this is to enhance the cookies with a coat that blocked the oil.


The best part about stop motion is it comes with its own charm, where hands on trial provides a different outlet for creativity. We’re glad that we were able to do justice to the medium and message, creating a unique and exciting film for the audience and adding life to the product.
