3D Generalist

Job Description

We are looking for 3D/CG Generalists for Animation films. In this role, 3D Generalist is responsible for Creating photo-real scenes, landscapes and assets as per projects requirement, completing work as required by supervisors, ensuring technical accuracy & delivering work on time.

You will be creating 3D video content, 3D Motion Graphics, and 3D Animation for Digital, Broadcasting, social media platforms & CGI for Prints Media working in a multitude of applications like Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, Substance and Adobe Suite.

Responsibilities

• To learn, practice, research & explore with clarity on the intended teaching for various aspects of 3D film/still creation – with the help of the studio mentor. 
• To Model, Shade Texture, Rig, Animate, Simulate, Light and Render projects with provided guidance to bring excellence in given time frame.
• Cultivate and develop essential skills like sense of composition and color, knowledge of relevant software, creativity, detail orientation, technical skills, and computer competences. 
• Be an active team player to  try new trends in 3D and add valuable inputs in form of ideas/suggestions/possibilities/explorations with the creative team for commission projects, inhouse projects, and client pitches / inquiries.
• Learn & Develop Film understanding, Production & Time Management, upscale quality with each project, and be a proactive team player to accelerate your growth curve.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience required
• 2 to 4 years of experience with progressively responsible as a 3D Generalist
• Freshers with a keen understanding of animation/design and looking for training.
• Good understanding and experience with 3D Pipeline, Methods, Tools, Creative understanding, Color Theory, Animation knowledge, Technical 3D software knowledge
• Teamwork and excellent communication skills
• Soft skills like Cinema 4D, Blender, Associated Render Engines, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, G Suits, Office Suits, and management tools. 
• A holistic thinker with superb people skills and prioritization abilities
